The Telegram Ad Platform is designed for creating sponsored messages in public channels with over 1,000 subscribers. It offers an easy-to-use interface for managing ads, budgets, and tracking performance. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to get started with advertising on Telegram:

Getting Started

To begin using the platform, you'll need to log in with an existing Telegram account. If you don't already have one, download the mobile app and sign up. After logging in, you'll receive a verification message on Telegram to confirm your access to the platform.

Choosing Your Account

Once logged in, you can either use your Personal Account or create an Organization. Organizations are tied to Telegram Groups and Channels, allowing admins to manage advertisements together. Only the channel owner can create an organization for that chat.

Creating an Ad

To create a new ad, click the Create a New Ad button. You'll need to fill in details such as a title, ad text, and a URL that directs users to a Telegram channel or bot. All links must follow the format t.me/link or @link, and external links are not allowed.

Once you've entered your content, a message of up to 160 characters, you can set the Cost-Per-Mille (CPM), which is the price for every 1,000 views of your ad. The minimum CPM is 0.1 Toncoin. You’ll also need to define your ad budget, which dictates how long your ad will run. To increase or decrease your ad budget, simply stop or delete the ad.

Targeting Channels

Ads are displayed in public channels with at least 1,000 subscribers. You can specify which channels you want your ads to appear in by entering their unique links. Keep in mind that targeting parameters cannot be changed once the ad is created, but you can duplicate an ad with the "Create a Similar Ad" function to adjust the targeting.

Managing Your Ads

After submitting an ad, it will appear on your homepage with one of several statuses, such as Stopped, In Review, Active, or On Hold. You can make changes to the ad’s content, adjust the CPM, or increase its budget at any time. However, targeting parameters cannot be altered after submission.

Adding Funds and Budget Management

If you don’t have funds in your account, you can add them when creating your first ad. You can also publish an ad without a budget to test the platform. For ongoing campaigns, you can manage your budget through the Budget Tab, where you’ll find transaction history and the option to add funds.

Payment is handled via cryptocurrency, specifically TON, which offers fast transactions and low fees.

Tracking Ad Performance

The Statistics Tab offers detailed insights into your ad’s performance, showing overall views, CPM, and how many users joined your channel or engaged with your bot. You can view this data over various time frames, helping you gauge the effectiveness of your campaign.

Account and Organizations

You can manage multiple organizations and personal accounts simultaneously. Switching between them is easy through the top-right menu, where you can also adjust your account details and view the transaction history.
